This month, I decided to research and read heartwarming comedies and webcomics. Here, you’ll find wholesome moments, comedy skits, stories with animal characters, and more. Featured webcomics are from WebToon and Tapas.*
Although I’ve read more than the 17 webcomics below, I wanted to list the funniest and most heartwarming ones. Personally, I needed to read more uplifting and hilarious webcomics to get through a tough time. We are still living in unprecedented times. While motivational and positive posts don’t always or entirely drive away despair, I hope one of these webcomics will lift your spirits. So let’s go !

Live with yourself! by Shen & David Mercier
A space-time incident causes versions of Todd to enter and remain in the present. His recent future self, his aged self and his infant self now live with him. One of my favorite parts is the endearing moments between Todd and his other selves.

Blue chair by Shen
The little ghost, scary stories and just sketches and comic moments. Shen’s comics always manage to make my day. Also, I love the little ghost.

Welcome to the Workforce by Onyinyeda (The creator’s site is not available) (Completed)
Having a government job as an adult isn’t as great as Onyinye expects. She is paid so little and the work is boring and overwhelming at the same time. Ironic but true.

New Life Project by Cherng (the creator’s site is not available) (Completed)
It takes courage to start over and do better. In addition, there are sensitive flowers, dancing office workers and daily reflections.

Safely in Danger by Chris McCoy
From the first episode, this series made me laugh. A hilarious episodic webcomic.

Huemans by InDaviduall
A well-constructed story about self-esteem and relationships. Between the main story are comedic sketches of Bible events and characters.
Note: If you are not black, please respect the creator by not appropriating AAVE (African American Vernacular English).

Meow Man by Olso (Completed)
Bonnie, in search of love, does not expect her cat Claude to turn into a humanoid man. Now she must figure out how to make this unprecedented relationship work.

by Teo & Guy
Just when Joel is seriously planning the wedding with Kim, he cheats on her. The balance between humor and drama impresses me. Joel may have a heart for a head, but he feels real (flawed and doomed to ruin everything.)

Dustinteractive by Dustin Rogers (Completed)
Comics, including play at home and Ethan the vegan boa constrictor, are entertaining. I enjoyed reading this webcomic.

Medical Tales as Told by The Awkward Yeti (Completed)
Readers from diverse backgrounds share their unusual ailments and illnesses. From severe scoliosis to MacGyver syndrome, these strange and surprising stories will have you hooked.
The first two episodes are available for free reading on Tapas. Also discover the creator’s other webcomic, Lars.
I received free access to Medical Tales Told in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

Swords by swordscomics
A satire of the genre and tropes of high fantasy. Join the characters as they encounter magic swords and wholesome moments.

Badly drawn by jam m.
Funny and adorable, this webcomic includes made-up holidays like Stay Hydrated Day and WebToon Day. If you need something to cheer you up after a hard day, check it out!

My name is Benny by Sokomin (Completed)
Benny wears a gas mask everywhere she goes, even to school. This is the story of his misadventures and experiences.

Roar Street Journal by Bonnie Pang (Completed)
Leo and his fellow animalists write and edit articles for the Roar Street Journal. That, and they also go through real-life situations and events.

A Budgie’s Life by Muffin Girl (Completed)
A sweet slice of life webcomic about the creator’s parakeets. I love how engaging, dynamic and informative it is. The creator also shares essential tips on self-care and taking breaks between projects.

Evelyn and Friends by boxful Thoughts
A little girl explores the world with her human and animal friends. Fun and adorable.

The Pumpkin Sells Real Estate by Godsent Comics
Lantrell TA Rosengarten, a person with a pumpkin for a head, works in metropolitan real estate. He befriends a barista, which gives him revelations about their life and their dreams. A webcomic for all ages that feels perfect to read during the fall!
