Disgraced R&B singer R Kelly’s racist cellmate has created a comic strip detailing the couple doing yoga in prison.
Brendan Hunt, 37, served time with Kelly at the Metropolitan Detention Center as Hunt faced a 10-year prison term for threatening to kill Democratic congressmen following the January 6 riots.
In the comic, Hunt nicknamed his cellmate ‘R. Celly’ and drew the couple chatting about music and doing yoga together.
Hunt, who shared the cell with Kelly for two weeks in June, filed the drawings in federal court in Brooklyn as part of his request for release from time served prior to his Nov. 22 sentencing.

Comics artist Brendan Hunt, 37, was found guilty in April of threatening to kill Democratic congressmen after the January 6 riots
Hunt’s “Prison Comics” drawings specifically detail a storyline between him and Kelly during their time together.
It begins with the pair describing their different musical tastes, with Hunt not knowing who Kelly is or what her songs are.
“I’m the biggest R&B star in human history!” How can you not know R. Kelly? asks the singer in the comic.
Hunt claims he has never heard of Kelly’s music, including popular songs such as “Ignition” and “I Believe I Can Fly”.
“I’m the biggest R&B star in human history!” Millions of babies have been conceived on my records!” Kelly added.
‘Have you ever heard of the band Megadeath? Or Killer? Or dying fetus? Hunt then asks Kelly who responds with “I guess I see what you mean”.
Kelly also notices a book Hunt is holding reading ‘Yoga 101’ and asks him why he is looking at it.
“This is some weird yoga stuff my lawyer sent us…she said you and I should do these exercises together,” Hunt replies, adding that the pair would “look like two idiots” while doing it.
Hunt and Kelly then launch into the “Warrior Pose” with Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly” playing in the background.
“I feel very vulnerable right now,” Kelly says as they get into a downward dog position.
A few days after their training, the new “workout buddies” maintained a muscular figure.
‘Oh, yeah!’, Kelly said. “Wait for the guys in the yard to see our winnings!” »
‘This is going to be awesome, R. ‘Celly!’ responds the now hunky Hunt.

Hunt had also done another comic about another inmate named Garcia who worshiped an idol called ‘Orshroom’ which he fed bananas.
R Kelly’s comic wasn’t Hunt’s first, as he also detailed a story involving another inmate named Garcia.
The tape is called ‘Our hero discovers the secrets of Santeria!’ and shows Garcia worshiping an idol called “Orshroom” whom he feeds bananas.
Hunt’s attorneys filed a motion with the court claiming he was “a different man” and praised his artistic expression as form or rehabilitation.
“Putting his artistic talents to work, he has created a Prison Comics comic book, which has been enjoyed by many, and we are offering a few episodes here as an F-Exhibit,” the motion reads.
“These are comics and meant to be lighthearted. But we believe they capture something deeper about the humanizing community that can be found in even the most dehumanizing conditions.
Hunt had been convicted in April of urging people to “kill your senators” in a video he posted following the Capitol riots.
He had been arrested by the FBI on January 19, the day after Biden’s inauguration.
Hunt had also posted videos threatening Democratic senators such as Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and Nancy Pelosi.
He was later acquitted of charges relating to the threats he made in the video.
However, he had also demonstrated racist and anti-Semitic ways of thinking by remarking that immigrants were “low-IQ Mongoloids” and calling NYC “Jew York City” in texts and online posts.
According to the sentencing note, he even blamed immigrants for President Trump’s loss to Biden in 2020.
“Trump, we want real revenge on the Democrats,” Hunt wrote in a Facebook post Dec. 6.
“This means we want you to hold a public execution of pelosi aoc schumer etc.
“And if you don’t, the citizens will. We are not voting in another rigged election.
“Start the firing squads, mow down those commies, and let’s take America back!”
Prosecutors had asked for 51 to 63 months in a sentencing note for Hunt because they said he should serve more time.
“The defendant’s threats to assassinate members of Congress are even more serious as he made his ‘Kill Your Senators’ threat video just days after angry supporters of former President Trump violently took ‘storming the Capitol,’ wrote Assistant U.S. Attorney Ian Richardson.

Despite this, Hunt claimed he was a changed man and said he didn’t mean what he said in those previous posts.
‘Sir. Hunt is a very different man today than the one who posted the ‘Kill Your Senators’ video and took it down hours later,” Hunt’s attorney Jan Rostal said in court documents.
“He testified that he wanted to be a peacemaker, and his digital footprint shows that is his ideal.”
Kelly had been a cellmate with Hunt as he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges,
The singer was convicted in September of sexually abusing young girls, boys and women.
He was convicted on all nine counts of racketeering and sex trafficking.
His sentencing is expected to take place on May 4, 2022.
