Sega localizes PSO2COMI Webcomics

There’s a new reason to regularly visit the official site to Star Fantasy Online 2: A comic. Sega announced that it will localize the slices of PSO2COMI: Phantasy Star Online 2 comic. The first two episodes of the Pekeko series are now available to read.

As it should be, the first installment of PSO2COMI involves Mitarashi and his friend, Tetra, as they celebrate the New Year and make wishes. The second continues the remarks of the first game, while playing with the idea that someone could be very different in real life compared to their virtual MMORPG avatar. Although this is the first worldwide exposure to the series, the Phantasy Star Online 2 Comic Book has been around for some time in Japan. Characters of Pusonicomi, as it is called there, have even appeared on merchandise. The series also features a 20-episode web animation in Japan.

Star Fantasy Online 2 is available on Xbox One and PC worldwide. It is also available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan. Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is in development and will appear on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC in Japan in 2021.
